Early Dismissal....10 A.M.

Well, due to the weather, my county got out at 10:00 a.m. Wow! One thing I can say with joy is at least we didn't lose a day of Spring Break! I have so very much to do with report cards going home next Thursday, Jan. 31. So much for getting a bunch accomplished today! My kids were so excited thinking we would have a bunch of snow, but who knows???????????????

Whew...Finally Friday!

First, I just have to show you an updated picture of my great nephew, Parks...isn't he just adorable? He has the sweetest little cheeks-    

Well, I was so excited to leave school today. This has been a long week. We had training for our state math assessments on Monday from 10:30-12:30. Since we have assistants in Kindergarten and the first grade teachers share assistants, our assistants had to cover the grades 1, 2 and 3 classrooms so those teachers could go to their training. With travel time, she left the room at 9:30 and came back at 1:30.  So in other words, my assistant was with me for one day this week! Whew, I was so glad to see her walk back in the room at 1:30 today! I am definitely ready for next week so we can have a more normal week.  I hope everyone had a fabulous week! My class is just precious but it can be very difficult to have a normal day by myself.
